Sawyer Garden Center was started due to the joint efforts of Barry and Linda Patejdl. Barry previously owned a retail garden center and fruit market. Linda had a background in the nursery industry. Together they started Sawyer Garden Center in 1985. Their children Tom and Jennifer have joined them in the business. After 24 years of dedication and a passion for the business, it has become the destination garden center of Harbor Country and beyond. Sawyer Garden Center has been an integral part of this community for many years, and has repeatedly changed in response to the community's needs.
Today, Sawyer Garden Center is the largest in the Harbor Country area. People travel from miles around to choose from its finest selection of garden related merchandise as well as quality unique gifts.
